SYNOPSIS OF ACHIEVEMENTS

OBJECTIVE

The objective of WP6 is to answer research questions on the relation between the microbiota, diet and health in the areas of early life and of the development of chronic disease during lifespan and ageing. This is achieved using data from observational and interventional human studies and standardization tools developed in the program.

The work in WP6 is divided into 2 different Tasks:
Task 1: Dietary composition for infants and adults (task leader: Matthias Laudes)

Use case 2: Dietary composition in infants
Task 2: Gut microbiome in health and disease (task leader: Tobias Pischon)
